Mind, body, and soul

Mind, body, and soul

Mind

Reflection in the mirror.

Distorted and unclear.

Warped, twisted, derived of fear.

Body

Sweat, blood, and tears.

Pushing away the fears.

Rejuvenating the years… of uncertainty.

Soul

The act of love is selfish in its entirety.

Yet to love oneself is a necessity.

If you are to grow.

Dreams

Although we are worlds apart…

At night do we not gaze upon the same moon?

Come daybreak do we not feel the warmth of the same sun?

Growth

In order to grow, one must venture out on their own.

They must not fear being alone.

For it is in these times of trial that evolution takes place.

Star Child (Dream Weaver)

Star Child (Dream Weaver)

Once upon a time, what feels like not so long ago.
She was but a child.
Never quiet, yet always curious.
Eyes always wide open just as her soul, she gazed at the night sky always reaching to the stars.
Every night she would light a candle, say her prayers, and wish upon every burning light in the sky.Wishing that she might one day set out to achieve her dreams.

The life of the dream weaver.
Heart of an explorer.
Mind of beauty.

Life tried to bind her soul.
Society tethered her to rules that she disregarded every chance she could.
Constantly she emptied the stones that life placed in her pockets, to weigh her down.
Freeing herself from its endless weight for gravity could not keep her bound.

Some people feared her strength.
Others feared her light.
Yet there was not a day that she gave up her fight.

Sometimes her heart was filled with doubt.
A sadness that made the sky cry, and brought about stormy clouds that fogged the mind.
Those were not easy days for the little girl, and she would often turn her gaze to the stars.
Allowing their eternal light to once again fill her chalice with strength.

Then one day she was not so little.
The girl was all grown up.
A warrioress in a world full of men.

There were a few false princes in her life.
They, like the world, tried to bind her to rules and subjugation.
She would not bow, and she stabbed her sword so deep within their hearts that these men wilted like a bouquet of dried flowers.
During these times of trial she would often light a candle and pray.
Eyes turned to the sky, and she dreamed of better days.

Packing up and leaving home was far from easy, yet inevitable to say the least.
How her mother cried, and she had too.
Yet she knew now where her place was in the universe.

The warrioress left home, unsure of where she would go.
Yet knowing in her heart that she held the light to guide her. Sometimes she would find herself astray, and it was then that she would turn her gaze to the night sky.Taking guidance by dreams that she had weaved all those years ago, ignited by the kindred light of her undying soul.

Life of the dream weaver.
The wondering stargazer, who would never settle for the ordinary.
For she was worth so much more…

Her self-worth far outweighed all the riches of the world and burned brighter than all stars in the sky.

Compassion

Compassion

Come closer my love so I may whisper these words in your ear.
Words of empathy, spoken through actions long before they ever passed through my lips.
Words of forgiveness… not for your sake, but for that of my own sanity.
Words of release, an end to the internal war that constantly wages within.
With these words I:
Unearth the shame.
Ground the guilt.
Root the pain… as it flows into the earth of our sacred mother.
I whisper those three words you so desperately wish to hear.

You are forgiven…

I speak them out loud manifesting intentions to the universe.
Not for your sake, for you lost that power over me a great many moons ago.
But for the sake of love:
Love for my soul.
Love for my growth.
Self love which is never selfish….
You are forgiven… my love.

So go now in peace.
